With over 20 years of combined experience, couple Kristina Tabb and Michael Sparks are some of LA’s most sought after hair experts. Teaming up to create Santa Monica’s newest hair salon, Tabb & Sparks, the duo utilizes their decades of expertise to provide a quality experience to every client who walks through their doors. Their shared passion for creating effortless and radiant hair styles is always reflected in their work. After moving to Los Angeles, Michael began by assisting a trio of famed hair stylists, Mara Rozak, Leanne Citrone and Jen Atkin, and eventually assisted renowned stylist Chris McMillan for several years. Sparks is renowned for his unparalleled attention to detail and ability to create styles that are timelessly gorgeous yet easy to maintain. His craftsmanship has appeared on the likes of high profile celebrities Meghan Markle, Anna Kendrick, and Courtney Cox amongst others. Outside of the salon, Michael can be found surfing his favorite west coast spots, or spending time working on his painting. Inspired by her Southern California upbringing, Kristina is a colorist specializing in creating beachy, sun-kissed locks. Trained by celebrity colorist Tracey Cunningham of Meche Salon, she learned how to carefully craft versatile looks. She prides herself on her ability to listen, providing clients with natural, beautiful, healthy hair they deserve. When she’s not with a client, Kristina spends her time beachside or finding the next hidden treasure at a local flea market. Located on Montana Avenue in the popular city of Santa Monica, Kristina and Michael live in the area and are excited to bring fresh styles and timeless looks to the Montana Avenue community.
